What to Order

Happy Toast
Great Harvest sourdough with avocado spread, fried mushrooms, arugula, pickled red onions and chilies, and nutritional yeast - the one entree that's badged vegan and actually is. Comes with a side; ask what the mushrooms are fried in, since tallow turns up elsewhere on the menu.
Red Flannel Hash
Roasted sweet potatoes, beets, carrots, onions and bell peppers with thyme. Badged vegan and gluten-free, and roasted rather than fried - the side to pair with the toast instead of the tallow-fried smashed potatoes.
Marinated Kale
With house green curry sauce. Also badged vegan and gluten-free, and on both the breakfast and lunch side lists.

Good to Know

  • Vegetables come from the restaurant's own on-site gardens in season.
  • The smashed potatoes and Korean Brussels sprouts are fried in beef tallow, and reviews since late 2024 say other fried items are too.
  • The online menu puts a vegan badge on the Pesto Melt, which comes with Gruyere and goat cheese.
